BORDERLANDS now in!

The Standard and Collector's Editions of Flyfishing the Welsh Borderlands arrived today. They look great and we have been busy sending out the first copies.
Next we had a pallet of big-game hunting from Safari Press; then late in the afternoon we received our copies of Jonathan Darcy's beautifully photographed book Of Dogs and Deer.
We did, after all, get some copies of the reprinted BB book, Confessions of a Coastal Gunner.
Just heard today that the new L.E.P. Len Arbury book, Barbel for Life has been delayed at the printers. So, it looks as though these will not be sent out until immediately after the holiday.
John Martin's new book, Where Kingfishers Play is due from the printers straight after the weekend. Limited to only 110 copies, that one won't last long!

NEW BOOKS CHRISTMAS 2011

We have new titles arriving here every day. Today it was our new edition of Roger Upton's Falconry Principles & Practice. One of the most useful modern falconry books, it has been out-of-print for years and we have republished it in response to many requests from falconers (including Roger himself!)
Flyfishing the Welsh Borderlands is on its way from the printers and should be here within a week.
Our de luxe limited edition two-volume sets of Ferox and Char in the Lochs of Scotland have now been completed and the first sets are winging their way across the world. It has been great fun to produce, and with the limitation set at only 110 copies, these should sell quickly and are certain to become very collectable.
The limited edition version of the new BB book, Confessions of a Coastal Gunner, sold out on publication. The publisher has reprinted but will not be supplying us with copies until the New Year. Sorry Folks! I made every effort to get enough copies to last us through Christmas, but it was not to be.
I did better with Charles Bingham's Way of a Wildfowler. We took all of the edition of only 300 signed copies, and at only £19.95 this is another one which is set to sell out. It will be interesting to see how much these two are fetching by next Christmas.

Our Collector's Edition of While My Float's Still Cocked has almost sold out. Just a handful of copies remain, despite the fact that these are already fetching more than the £45 published price on eBay. It continues to get wonderful reviews, and it seems that Maurice Pledger's beautiful colour plates and witty and evocative stories strike a chord with everyone who reads it. The standard edition, a large, handsome and unusual paperback with cover-flaps and illustrated end-papers, is still available at only £19.95. It is selling fast, though!

TALES OF A LONDON POACHER - JUST PUBLISHED!

Tales of a London Poacher by Cleve Edmonston

SEE CLEVE ON TV NOW -http://www.fieldsportschannel.tv/index.php

Growing up in the East End of London, Cleve Edmonston might have been drawn to the bright lights of the city. Instead, he followed the instincts that led him to a secret world; a world where wildfowl and wood-pigeons flighted to and fro on the great London reservoirs... Following in the tradition of countryside writing set by The King Of The Norfolk Poachers, Cleve tells us, in his own words, his Tales Of A London Poacher.

There are memoirs of pigeon shooting and fishing, of netting rabbits with “Hardman V.J.” (Vinny Jones) and of his night time experiences with badgers, foxes and deer; of owls, falcons...and not forgetting rats the size of cats!
