FALCONRY FAIR CANCELLED
- SO PAUL IS OFF TO MULLOCK'S BOOK AUCTION IN LUDLOW

The weather has completely disrupted our schedule of game fairs this year. The annual Falconry Fair, already rescheduled because of a previous cancellation, has now been cancelled. We were planning to launch our new limited edition of Latham's Falconry. Instead we are preparing to send out pre-ordered copies now. Limited to only 100 sets, these will not be available for long.

News update June the 18th, 2012

First the good news. Many of you sent messages of support following the theft of my trailer and its contents. Well, the police tracked down the owner of the vehicle used and rather than face a prison sentence for the theft of a lot of books that he didn't really want he returned the trailer and books. What a good result!

Second - even more good news. Our stand at the BFFI is going to be inundated with angling authors keen to sign your books! Sven-Olov Hård is coming all the way from Sweden to demonstrate tying the classic salmon fly "in the hand," and to sign copies of his new book, while Terry Griffiths will be there with his Essential Kelson. Roger Smith of Welsh Borderlands fame and Theo Pyke, author of Trout in Dirty Places will be joining us, as will Dominic Garnett with Flyfishing for Coarse Fish. On Saturday Chris Mann will be signing copies of the new paperback edition of his Illustrated Directory of Salmon Flies, and of course Barry Ord Clarke, Malcolm Greenhalgh and who knows who else will be there to sign copies of their books and meet their readers.
