Part II, 'Angling Materials' covers tackle, a brief section on flies and fly-tying, quite a lot of material on baits for the coarse species as well as for trout and salmon, worm fishing,trolling, 'trimming' and 'huxing', flies for France and Belgium, flies for Great Britain and Ireland. Part III is a detailed description of France andBelgium, going river by river and mentioning the important towns. Part IV covers England and Wales, Scotland and Ireland albeit in a more perfunctory manner than Part III.
