Notes: This is a journal of a sporting season in the Scottish Highlands, with the attendant social activities. The journal is illustrated throughout by the author, who was an amusing and accomplished illustrator, one of the most well-known in his day with many books to his credit. He also directed a series of early silent films which appeared in 1921. Original copies of A Sojourn in the Highlands in a complete state are very rare, and this reprint was reproduced from Kenneth Whitehead's copy.
