Notes: A complete history of muskie fishing in North America. Numerous facts and figures along with reproductions of many letters from important muskie anglers throughout history. Packed with information but remains quite readable. Both the front cover and the title-page, somewhat patronisingly, give a definition of the word "compendium". Al Soczka in his muskie angling bibliography "Muskie: The written word 1892 - 2003" ranks this book as scarce and one of the "Four Cornerstones of a muskie book library, and it is therefore, an absolute must for avid book lovers and muskie fishermen to own. It has no equal".
