Details

The author describes in detail his sporting acitivities between the 1950s and the present day. The scene of the action is various parts of the Himalayas, in Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh, as well as the Sundarbans. Khan's preference was for high, wild, inaccessible areas and maximum discomfort, although he does also describe tiger shoots in the grand style, using a couple of dozen elephants. Tigers, ibex, markhoor, urial, Marco Polo sheep, wild boar, game birds, crocodiles and even the odd raccoon. A good read. NB. This book, and other Pakistani, Indian and Sri Lankan books in our stock, although new and unused may be rather bumped. This is to be expected from these countries and these books are not returnable for any reason related to condition.
