HOW AND WHERE TO FISH IN IRELAND: A HAND-GUIDE FOR ANGLERS. By "Hi-Regan". Tenth edition.
.# (1886) ND (c. 1907) 10th edition. Small 8vo. Ppviii,183. B/w illustrations, folding colour map. Binding B. Green cloth with black titles and black rod and creel vignette on upper board.
.# Captain John Joseph Dunne travelled the world as an army officer, and in search of sport and adventure. Settling in Ireland he became a prison governer and also a campaigner for Home Rule. On retirement from the prison service he settled in London where he worked as an artist and journalist. The British Library dates this edition at 1905, but the ninth edition was 1906, so this was certainly 1907 or later. Print, paper and binding of this issue all give the impression of a cheap edition.
