The author's inscription states, "George Hedley Stainforth George went on to be a famous test-pilot, the first man to fly at over 400 m.p.h. The Stainforth family website has a group photograph, taken in May 1913 on the occasion of Rev. Glover's 86th birthday, including both about the author, and a colour photograph, probably of Wootton Rectory.
