Details
Prolific as a military and political historian, Sir Robert Bruce Lockhart's best known book was "Memoirs of a British agent". This, his angling memoirs, takes us from childhood trouting in Strathspey, through fishing trips abroad, and back to the Spey. This Flyfisher's Classic Library edition, limited to 500 numbered copies, was taken from the 1957 second edition which included a new preface by the author. The FFCL has also included a new foreword by the author's son, Robin Bruce Lockhart, as well as a new frontispiece photograph of the author.
