An autobiographical narrative of his 48 years as a PH, hunting elephant, lion, sable, leopard and buffalo in Botwana, Uganda, South Africa, Tanzania and Kenya. Some account of the Kenya Game Department and much material on Kerr and Downey Safaris Ltd, and their later incarnation as Kerr, Downey and Selby. An exciting account of modern big game hunting by one who had seen the tail-end of the colonial era. Round the Campfire had been previously published by Amwell Press in 1989.
