Dunne was better known to the world at large as a designer of aeroplanes in the early years of the twentieth century, and for his theories on the nature of time as expressed in his book An Experiment With Time (1927). *This issue, though still dated as the 1950 second edition, was actually issued on or after 1961 with a new dust-wrapper design.
