A FISHERMAN'S SUMMER IN CANADA. By Frederick Aflalo.

# 1911 1st edition. 8vo (146 x 205mm). Ppxii,147. B/w photograph plates. Maroon cloth, spine titled in gilt, blind-stamped border to upper board.

# This is Frederick Aflalo's account of his three-month angling tour of Eastern Canada involving a canoe trip on the Miramichi, with salmon and grilse fishing, and a month at Cape Breton Island in an attempt to land one of the big tunny or tuna. This fishery was in its infancy and although Aflalo records the hooking of many large fish, none were landed.
