This is a two-part guide for the collector of British angling books. The first part ranges from collecting antiquarian angling books to the bookplates frequently found therein, and contains chapters on angling books as history, collecting angling magazines and catalogues, and angling booklets. The inspiration for the second part of the book came from Arthur Ransome's booklet, Fishing, published by the National Book League in 1955 in which he recommended suitable books to form the nucleus of an angler's library. Keith has brought Ransome's lists up to date and included new sections on angling and art, angling biographies, tackle collecting and angling history. Volume Three of Coch-y-Bonddu Books Angling Monographs Series. There is also a de luxe edition, quarter-bound in green leather, limited to only 26 lettered copies (our stock number 39208).
