This little volume appears to belong to this category, judging from the letters I have had over the years since it was first published, and by the value of out-of-print copies on the shelves of the sellers of second-hand books". This second edition contains new material not seen in the first edition, including an account of Richard Walker's record capture of 1952. A note on this, the 1979 reprint, states "Clarissa, the record carp caught by Richard Walker, died on May 3rd 1971 at the London Zoo Aquarium, where it had been for over eighteen years. The text of this impression, however, has not been altered from the 1970 printing when Clarissa was still alive".
