Contents include biographies of noted American deer hunters, biology and behaviour of deer, tracking, sections on the American tradition of deer hunting, buckskin, the deer camp, scientific research and bow hunting. The final section includes an excellent and extensive bibliography of deer hunting books with useful notes on each. A useful and interesting book for anyone interested in deer stalking and deer management. The author continued the series with Deer and Deer Hunting 3.
