The sequel to Deer and Deer Hunting and Deer and Deer Hunting 2, this is book provides further detailed accounts of modern deer hunting in the USA. Contents include biographies of noted American deer hunters, biology and behaviour of deer, tracking, sections on the American tradition of deer hunting, buckskin, the deer camp, scientific research and bow hunting. The final section includes an excellent and extensive bibliography of deer hunting books with useful notes on each. A useful and interesting book for anyone interested in deer stalking and deer management. The three volumes together would make a particularly good basis for further reading and research. The first two volumes of Deer and Deer Hunting may be found under stock numbers 21969 and 21970.
