It is difficult to find any publication details for this series, but it seems that publication began around 1940 when Frank Ditchfield was based in Edinburgh, and continued until about 1970 at which time Ditchfield's British Books Ltd were based in Leyland, Lancs. This (third?) version lists 30 titles on the rear cover. The publisher's address, printed three times, is in Chorley, Lancs. Price 6d.
