This is David Collyer's companion volume to his book, Fly-Dressing, in which he describes a further collection of fly paterns, each of which "has proved its worth by catching many fish". The patterns are divided into five sections; 1. winged dry flies, hackled dry flies, sedges; 2. nymphs, larvae and pupae; 3. wet flies; 4. hairwing lures, streamers, Matukas, multi-hook lures, muddler minnows, unclassifiable patterns; 5. salmon flies - hairwing flies, tube flies, grubs, fully dressed flies.
