"Advanced Thinking on Grayling". This is a detailed exposition of grayling fishing as practised in Germany. The authors discuss the grayling and its habits as well as tackle and equipment. Flies are also treated in detail. A notably large proportion of the book is given over to casting in general, and numerous individual casting techniques in particular. Hans Gebetsroither was an Austrian angler, particularly associated with the Gmunder Traun and the rivers of Styria. He was the grand old man of central European fly fishing, notable for imparting the tradition to others, and for developing cutting-edge casting techniques which remain highly influential to this day.
