This book was first published in German under the title, Momella: Abseits vom Wege im afrikanischen Jagdparadies (Momella: Off the Beaten Track in Africa's Hunting Paradise; Verlag Paul Parey, 1954), and was translated into English by Diana Pyke". Momella is an enchanting and unusal farm situated high up on the Eastern slopes of Mount Meru in Tanganyika, within sight of Kilimanjaro and in the heart of a strange and beutiful territory teeming with wild game of all kinds - a veritable hunter's paradise. ...
