A good deal on flyfishing for yellowfish and other native South African species along with introduced species such as carp and trout. There are also four chapters on saltwater fishing. A folding appendix at the rear lists species of fish together with where and when to angle for them, average weight and recommended baits and lures. The relatively low quality printing and binding, criticised by some at the time of publication, has meant that it has become quite a hard book to find in reasonable condition.
