Purported to be largely written at Talyllyn where Medwin fished with the cocobundy! The engravings are of the Wye, Dyfi and Dysynni, even one of Llyn Bugeilyn, and display the same romantic exaggeration as the text. A rambling literary discourse based on a thirty-day angling tour, based mainly in this part of Mid-Wales. It includes much on the author's military and sporting experiences in India, and references to his friends, Shelley and Byron.
