A very worthy successor to The Perchfisher's previous book, The Book of the Perch (Oxford Illustrated Press, 1990). The Biggest Fish of All is by far and away the best look at perch fishing to have been published in recent years. The book consists of articles by a great number of Perchfishers members covering a wide variety of venues and methods in the UK and abroad. Beautifully designed and produced by Stephen Harper. An essential book for any perch fishing and indeed coarse angling library. Co-editor and contributor, Richard Chandaman, sadly passed away shortly before the book was due to go to press. Chapters include: Big perch; Planning a big perch campaign; How to catch big perch; River Thames and Kennet; The Great Ouse and Claydon Brook phenomenon; Favourite perch rivers; Commercials and club fisheries; Tring Reservoirs; Favourite still-waters; Irish perch; Perch fishing abroad; Lure-fishing for perch; The angling artists; What do we really know - science and perch; The Perchfishers - then and now.
