Updated for 2014, Peter Carr's book offers in-depth origins and facts about all the species that can be legally hunted in the British Isles and Ireland, and combines them with many personal stalking experiences. The first edition of this book sold out almost immediately upon publication. The second edition has been extended and updated with new wildlife photography, newly released stalking equipment, an additional hunting story and a preface by the author. Despite the slightly misleading title, the book does a very good job of covering all of the large British game species such as wild boar, feral goats, soay sheep and foxes along with all of our deer species. A superb book that comes highly recommended.
