The two earliest versions of "The treatise of fishing with an angle," attributed to Dame Juliana Berners. The manuscript of 1450 and the earliest printed version of 1496 are included in three formats: in facsimile of the original Middle English; in a printed readable version; and in a modernised text version. The appendices include the prologues to "Master of game" (c1405) and Frederick II's "The art of falconry" (c1245) in modernised text.
