An excellent and useful book on Irish falconry in general, with much on the history of falconry in Ireland, detailed advice on rearing, training and hunting with the sparrowhawk, and sections on veterinary care and on training spaniels for hawking. Pages bound individually (folio) rather than the usual folded and sewn signatures. Certain copies in this edition had a collation error where pages 33 and 34 were transposed. This is one of those copies.
