Includes much on the Indian Bison (gaur), tigers, leopards, panthers, cheetahs and black bears. Includes a chapter on jackal hunting with fox hounds, fox and hare coursing and hunting bears and other animals with various dogs and hounds. A facsimile reprint of the third edition of 1882 by W.H.
