Richard Shelton is Research Director of the Atlantic Salmon Trust and Chairman of the Buckland Foundation. This wide-ranging account includes expeditions of HMS Beagle and HMS Challenger as well as much material on Frank Buckland and his work. A good, solid read for anyone interested in fish, the environment and exploration at sea.
