An account of a five-week salmon fishing trip on the River Alta in Northern Norway in 1954. The group included Charles Ritz, who took the photographs - and a 48.5lb salmon. Originally privately published in a very small number (VH says 12 copies, CW suggests less than 100), this new edition, published by the Alta Fishery Association and edited by Vanya Hackel, includes some extra photographs which were not included in the first edition.
