No mention of Bazley in this edition, despite it being based on his original book of 1933. (He died in May of that year). This edition is not dated but refers to the floods of 1939 and to numbers of trout stocked during the winter of 1938-39. It has been extensively revised and enlarged and includes chapters by W. Carter Platts on "Trout flies for Yorkshire rivers", and Harry Carr on "Match winning secrets".
